Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) 2017

01 - 04 May, 2017

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is the largest oil and gas event in the world and is attended by over 80,000 professionals in the industry. Running annually since 1969, this year’s conference takes place in Houston and provides an opportunity for energy experts to meet and exchange ideas, all with the view to advancing scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources.

OTM’s Michael Sequeira, Principal Consultant, Deepwater Practice Leader, has co-written a technical paper with Hani Eshahawi from Shell and Laurence Ormerod from Ormerod Consulting Ltd which is being presented during the conference. The paper, titled ‘A More Holistic Approach to Oilfield Technology Development’ will be available to purchase from the OnePetro website following the event in May.

In addition, an OTM article on Drilling Automation will be featured in IADC’s May (OTC) edition of Drilling Contractor and the author, Ekaterina Minyaeva, will also be attending along with the Houston team.
